Plunge yourself right into the heart of the murky, blood-splattered action with this tense video game adaptation of the classic film franchise.
Remakes are nothing new in Hollywood but developer Rebellion's remake of their own 1999 PC title is more unusual - it's a great move, though, with the latest technology superbly bringing to life the claustrophobic action of the films.
For the single-player campaigns, you play as a Marine, an Alien or a Predator, with each having notably different gameplay.
The Marine uses a standard gun-based dynamic, while the Predator offers stealth and invisibility plus a variety of melee weapons and the Alien possesses speed, wall crawling ability and that infamous second set of teeth.
It's tense, atmospheric and definitely gory.
As well as the impressive graphics, the sound effects are particularly gripping, from the unnerving click of the Aliens to the nerve-shredding beep of the motion sensor.
There's also plenty of excellent online options, including six multi-player modes (some team based), plus Death match free-for-alls that combine Aliens, Predators and Marines.
